Do you have Comcast or Cox internet? Your lock on its current firmware may be incompatible. See this article for how to update the firmware on the device - here.
First, turn off Cellular Data on your cell phone or try a WiFi-only device on the same network as the Gate and see if you are able to access the internet.
Next, reboot your router according to the manufacturers specifications.
If you are still unable to connect, please run a WiFi scan and contact Customer Support. In the app, go to the Settings tab, select Help and then WiFi Diagnostics. Confirm your phone is connected to the same WiFi network as the lock. Move next to the lock and run the scan.
